What do we believe?
Next Generation encourages curiosity and exploration through the lens established by those who have gone before us. Our founder with over 20 years of experience has selected the best features of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf to create our own progressive and holistic program.
We believe that learning should be self-directed, similar to a Montessori approach. We also believe in having high-quality teachers who provide age-appropriate learning experiences. We provide open learning opportunities in the morning and afternoon by using our environment as the third teacher. We create guided learning opportunities through our planned curriculum.
We believe student-guided learning allows children to develop problem-solving skills by thinking through situations in a logical manner. Comparable to a Reggio Emilia program, we believe that children learn through self-expression. We provide these opportunities through art and movement, STEM, and being in nature.
Similar to a Waldorf school, we believe that children thrive when they have a consistent schedule with familiar routines. When children are prepared for what’s next they feel secure and are able to fully engage in the learning opportunities provided.
What sets us apart?
Our founder has created an advanced holistic approach to Early Childhood Education, where we encourage natural discovery and support that each child has unique needs and interests while spending as much time as physically possible outside in our natural world. We expose children to different environments and various learning experiences to allow them to explore who they are and gain a sense of the world around them. Our highly qualified teachers focus on the strengths of each child while facilitating the successful development of the whole child. We encourage this healthy development through a curriculum that supports an emerging natural discovery. Once they leave a Next Generation campus, they’re fully prepared for the next chapter of their academic lives.
